As has been previously reported, Kurt Angle was arrested yesterday and is currently out on bond. The big wrestling-related question: will he be participating in tonight’s TNA Hard Justice pay-per-view?
At about 10:45am ET this morning, the following was posted on TNA’s official Twitter page:
Hard Justice PPV TONIGHT! Morgan v Angle v Sting! Foley v Nash! Joe v Homicide! Plus the return of the Steel Asylum! 8pm EST TONIGHT!
I guess there’s a chance the person running the Twitter account didn’t hear about the arrest, but since the story was reported by national/mainstream media such TMZ.com, the Baltimore Sun, the UK Sun and SLAM! Canada, I find that hard to believe.
My assumption? For better or worse: match on.
UPDATE: SI.com has Associated Press’ story, which adds that Kurt’s court dates are on Tuesday (as previously reported) and Wednesday. Tuesday’s hearing is for the drug and harassment charges; Wednesday’s is for violating the protection order, says AP. Also F4Wonline.com says that Angle is indeed at the arena and will be participating in tonight’s PPV.
