Entourage – Episode 6-6 Review

Top Story

This show is about friendship right? Despite all the expensive cars, lavish houses, lush parties, and beautiful ladies, the show, based around the Hollywood life, is truly about four friends. Yes they mooch off Vince, and they evolve.

This week’s episode really showed just how important friendship was to Drama. Drama is anything but relaxed, and this week, he couldn’t even focus on his hit TV show, because of Jamie Lynn.  Although it came off a little bit odd on how he wanted to do an extra take of the make-out session with Jamie Lynn, it was obvious that he wanted to prove he was a better kisser than Turtle.  The whole situation with Drama’s boss wanting to sleep with Jamie Lynn, was just quite wrong and honestly shocked me. Drama will get canned from his show quite obviously, but he did the right thing. He saw what was happening was wrong, and he did his best to put his foot down. Drama may have lost his show, but he did it for the right reasons, and I love the heart Drama puts forth in this episode.

The “sex tape” seemed to be bad news, but I believe Vince was able to save himself from a public sex tape scandal by taking control of the camera. This was brought up for a reason, but will probably be passed off, and not a continued plot line.

We don’t see Turtle at school (although we see him pull up with Vince). Turtle plays a minor role in this episode, although he will probably be in the thick of things, next week, when we see what happens with Jamie Lynn Sigler and Drama’s Boss.

Andrew Klein needs to be fired, I hope that he kind of, disappears from the show. He doesn’t need to be around anymore, quite honestly. I hope they show him get back to being a family man with Marla (his wife), and possibly opening his own business again.  I still forecast that Lloyd will take over his position at the Miller-Gold Agency. Expect a harsh reminder of Andrew’s disappointment from Babs.

The “E” show as many call it, took another turn this week. E got caught in a lie, over something as stupid as seeing his ex-girlfriend, Sloan. Sloan is going to play a major role in the long run, but I believe he isn’t done with other girls yet. E is taking the job at the “big” agency.  Apparently next week, one of the clients at the agency to bring in Bob Saget, because they name dropped “Eric Murphy.”  E is looking and acting more like a manager. He stuck to his story with Ashley, and things got messed up.

Here’s a quick rant about Ashley.  She had  NO right to read or listen to his messages. Although E shouldn’t have lied, she should have trusted him. She didn’t and she went behind his back in to HIS personal messages. She violated a personal space code, and turned in to quite the psycho.  E needs better, he deserves better. He deserves Sloan, but don’t just pop her back in to the next episode, lets see E with other girls in the mean time.

This episode although quite a depressing one, like season 5, was quite a plot mover. Let’s see what happens next week about Drama’s Job (or lack there of), E’s single life (again), E’s new job, Vince’s girl of the day, and Turtle and Jamie Lynn.  On top of that lets remember Lloyd and Ari, and dealing with Andrew Klein.

Remind me again on how they can pack ALL of this into a less than 30 minute show?

Entourage comes on every Sunday Night at 10:30pm ET on HBO and HBO HD.
