Bradley-Campbell Decision Changed

News

Tim Bradley’s TKO victory of Nate Campbell from August 1 has been changed to a no contest by the California State Athletic Commission. The bout was originally deemed a TKO win for Bradley when Nate Campbell could no longer fight due to cut over his eye. The referee of the fight, David Mendoza, ruled the cut came from a punch and awarded the TKO to Bradley, causing Campbell to file a complaint. On Monday, the CSAC ruled that the cut did in fact come from an accidental headbutt, not a punch, and the decision was overturned.
