WWE News On Lillian Garcia, Kofi Kingston, Shad

Lillian Garcia’s Twitter page contains two interesting details; last night’s Raw wasn’t her last show. She says she should be around for a few more weeks. Also, the Divas threw her a bachelorette party last night in Vegas. So, if she winds up married to Triple H, is that just history repeating itself?

Kofi Kingston talks games and wrestling with Game Informer. Apparently, wrestlers take their stats in Smackdown vs. Raw as seriously as football players do in Madden:

(Kofi) I wasn’t the lowest-rated player in the game – that’s Zack Ryder if I’m not mistaken, which we always harass him about that.

GI: Is that something that you guys talk about when the games come out?

Kingston: Absolutely. It’s funny because Cryme Tyme – I think JTG is an 83, and Shad is
like 84 or something like that – so I debuted and I’m higher than both of them. So we always rip on JTG, because he’s an 83, and we’re both a lot higher than he is.

It’s pretty in depth, as he talks about life on the road, the Wrestler, and how geeked Kofi is to be in a video game. There are also some nice screens from the new SVR featuring Kofi and Rey Mysterio.

Cryme Tyme’s Shad Gaspard is interviewed by Ruth Rice at the Tribune Democrat’s site. He’s promoting a Smackdown/ECW house show, but talks about his background as a bodyguard, choosing JTG as his partner, and his work in schools, talking with children about not making the same choices he did:

“All of us have pasts, and some of them are not the cleanest,” Gaspard said. “I don’t glorify what I used to do. I can’t rap about it because I actually did it. There are different ways to do things.”
