Penn vs. Sanchez could be network television bound

News

Dana White today hinted that the UFC could be close to a network television deal, and also said that while the fight we reported between BJ Penn and Diego Sanchez is taking place in November as planned, it won’t serve as the main event for UFC 105 on Spike. It also won’t be a pay-per-view bout, but White wouldn’t reveal where the fight may potentially land. He simply said the fight was being moved from Manchester to an undisclosed show.

White did confirm that the company is planning a third event for November, but denied that the show was being planned in order to combat Strikeforce.
