Big Brother – Episode 11-22 Review

Shows

As the game nears the final two, Big Brother usually gets more predictable. A strong alliance usually goes in for the kill and eliminates the other alliance, leaving themselves free reign in the final four. But season 11 hasn’t stuck to the “normal” season format so far, so why would it change now?

The F4 alliance of Jordan/Jeff/Michele/Russell is completely over, and that really disappoints me. I wanted them to be the final four! If I was Jeff, as the HoH I would continue taking out Natalie and Kevin. But for some reason he thought Russell was a bigger threat and just HAD to take this opportunity to get him out now!

Either way, it didn’t look good for Jeff. He’s got a huge target on his back and he wasn’t allowed to play for Head of Household, so Jordan winning is his only hope of complete safety. And honestly, Jordan doesn’t have a great shot at winning. She’s not the brightest bulb on the shelf, she’s not the most athletic and she’s not great at competitions. And from online spoilers, Kevin ended up winning the HoH. Uh oh!

But back to the beginning of the episode, Julie showed us some footage from the Jury House and I now officially don’t respect Lydia at all. I already pretty much despised her, but after seeing her in the Jury House, she’s pathetic. Going in with a “I hate Jessie” attitude actually made me happy, but then fifteen minutes after getting to the Jury House she already wanted to be all over him! CONTROL YOURSELF LYDIA! She obviously can’t. It’s just pathetic how she swoons over him, when he obviously treats her horribly. But hey, she’s crazy. So nothing new.

Since the unanimous vote to evict Russell (the first unanimous vote of the season!) was quite obvious, at least there was one surprise in Russell’s eviction – his reaction! Throughout the season, Russell was known to be the hothead and always being in the middle of every possible argument. So when he’s evicted, you’d expect him to go off on some crazy rant like others have done in the past, right? Nope! Nothing of the sort! He calmly says goodbye to everyone and wishes them good luck, and is completely calm in his interview with Julie! Needless to say, it was surprising to me.

With Kevin being the new HoH, either Jeff or Michele is going home I think. And that’s really bad since they’re too of my favorites. I just do NOT want Natalie to win this season. If Kevin or any of the other three win, I’ll be happy. But please, not Natalie!

Before the show was over, Julie announced there was a twist to the HoH this week and revealed a secret door in the HoH room, so who knows what that will have for the house. Hopefully it’s not something from production that will end up saving Jeff and Jordan, because as much as I want them both to stay, that’d just be unfair. Come on Grodner, we know you LOVE messing with the game! Just please leave this season alone from here on out, alright? Thanks so much.
