Kendrick Talks WWE Release, DG USA, Fellatio

News

Dragon Gate USA has a feature article on Brian Kendrick, who debuts with the promotion next weekend. Kendrick talks about his release from WWE right off the bat:

“I had some fun in WWE,” Kendrick said. “I learned a lot, made some friends. It’s a corporation, I am a human. This human didn’t fit into the corporation’s plans, and that corporation didn’t fit with my human side. I had some laughs, but I am awfully happy the ride is over, and I don’t want back on.”

He goes on to talk about wrestling for DG USA:

“I was excited obviously when I got the call from Dragon Gate USA,” Kendrick said. “The thing I love about Dragon Gate is from what I have seen it has its own vibe. It’s hip. I get a different feeling when I watch Dragon Gate, it doesn’t feel like you’re watching wrestling, it feels like you are watching a show. It is similar to Cirque Du Soleil with the colorful costumes and characters with amazing acrobatic skills that leave you amazed. I think it’s fresh, a fantastic direction for wrestling to be headed, and I am happy to be apart of it.”

And then he talks about WWE again:

There are certainly aspects of the WWE style that I have learned that I will keep, a lot of what they have to offer in terms of an idea of what a wrestling match should be I have come to agree with, but if you expect me to be satisfied with three minutes of wrestling that is structured to not be especially good, written down and every so often designed to humiliate myself to make old men laugh, well then you can suck my dick. I am going to wrestle the style that pleases me.”

He also talks about his opponent, CIMA, and his plans for the future, but I think I’ll go ahead and end on that last quote there.
