The following news items were posted in the August 27th edition of the ROH Newswire:

ROH has announced all of Bryan Danielson’s opponents for the month of September, as he says goodbye to Ring of Honor and gets set to move on to World Wrestling Entertainment.  The listing for the “Final Countdown Tour” is as follows (tickets for all events are still available at ROH’s website):

- September 10 – Philadelphia, PA; w/Roderick Strong vs. The American Wolves

- September 11 – Philadelphia, PA; vs. Roderick Strong

- September 18 – Dayton, OH; vs. “That Young Knockout Kid” Chris Hero

- September 19 – Chicago, IL; vs. Tyler Black

- September 25 – Boston, MA; vs. Davey Richards

- September 26 – New York, NY; vs. ROH World Champion Austin Aries

Tyler Black will be participating in two of the six ROH on HDNet main events to be taped on September 10th and 11th.  On the 10th, it will be Black vs. Nigel McGuinness.  On the 11th, Black takes on Kenny King.

More matches have been booked for the weekend of September 25th and 26th.  On the 25th in Boston, Petey Williams will compete in a Four Corners Survival Match against Claudio Castagnoli, El Generico, and Chris Hero.  The next night, at Glory By Honor VIII, at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, The Briscoe Brothers face off against The Young Bucks.

ROH makes its debut in Windson, Ontario, on November 13th at the Novelletto Sports & Recreation Complex.  A special, free “Meet & Greet” autograph session with ROH stars will be held at 6:30 PM for all fans purchasing tickets for this event.  Talent lineup and matches will be announced in upcoming weeks.  Tickets for this event will go on sale tomorrow (Friday, August 28th) at 10 AM Eastern Time, in ROH’s website.  

The latest edition of the ROH Videowire is now available online, featuring comments from the Briscoe Brothers, Colt Cabana, the Dark City Fight Club, Roderick Strong, Claudio Castagnoli, and Nigel McGuinness, as well as a preview of the DVD of The Homecoming II, which is now available.  Check out the Videowire here.

 

 

Hip-hop artist Kidd Russell used ROH as the backdrop for his new music video for “Rush (Rock remix)”.  Production is NOW complete – the video has been picked up by MTV and can be seen here.
