Two of Poland’s most popular boxers will battle each other on October 24 in their home country. Tomasz Adamek will take on Andrew Golota in what is being billed as “The Polish Fight of the Century.”
Tomasz Adamek, 38-1 (26 KOs), is a former light heavyweight champion and current cruiserweight champion. He will moving up to heavyweight in order to fight Golota, 41-7-1 (33 KOs). Golota is best known for getting disqualified against Riddick Bowe in two separate fights, both times for repeatedly hitting Bowe in his baby-maker.
