FX has green lit a Don Cheadle executive produced project called March to Madness and will focus on a college basketball team that wants to win by any means necessary. Former sportswriter Joel Silverman, who wrote the hoops-themed TV movie Full-Court Miracle, is penning the script, and Peter Segal (Get Smart, The Longest Yard) is set to direct.
FX has picked up three new comedy series (Archer, The League” and “Louie”) and a drama (Lawman). It also has two other drama pilots, Lights Out” and Terriers, in development.
