The TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles came about because of Jeff Jarrett being out of power. He was strong on having on three titles, which is why a previous plan for X Division Tag Team Titles was scrapped. Jarrett felt that the more belts there are, the less important each one becomes. Since the Knockouts have drawn better ratings than the X Division guys in recent times, the decision was made to give the women something else to be fighting over.

Scott D’Amore is looking to work as an agent at PPVs and TV tapings only. He has a number of other business interests, including a restaurant, his family’s shopping plaza, plus construction and waste management projects with his father. He enjoys wrestling and wants to assist TNA, so is looking to fit five days a month into his schedule to work in the wrestling business and relieve some ‘real world’ stress.

Almost everyone in TNA watched the Carano/Cyborg fight on Showtime in the Orlando hotel the night before the recent TNA PPV. Jim Cornette was raving about it because he has noted that MMA has given him a number of ideas for new finishes that could be used in wrestling. He was telling people that he is compiling a new book of finishes. There was also a lot of speculative talk about how to book Carano in TNA, although that is likely never going to happen.
