Further to our earlier coverage of the Jeff Hardy arrest story, Chris Jericho has posted a message of support for Hardy on his Twitter page:
“Don’t think of judging Jeff Hardy until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes. I will always have Jeff’s back.”
Meanwhile, in move that should come as no surprise, WWE has pulled the planned Jeff Hardy DVD from its upcoming releases. The majority of the documentary footage for the DVD had already been filmed in Cameron, NC, including an interview with Matt Hardy, but as things stand there are no plans to release it.
However, the front page of WWE.com is at present still promoting a special Jeff Hardy section on their WWE Alumni site. The bio simply concludes with – “Hardy reclaimed the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of the Champions and then lost the title to Punk again at SummerSlam in an amazing Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match. The following Friday on SmackDown, Hardy lost a Loser Leaves Town Match to the Straightedge Champion, bringing an end to one of the most thrilling careers in WWE history.”
The street value of the drugs in Jeff Hardy’s possession is estimated at $2,500, according to The Sun.
