The first leg of the “Final Countdown” farewell tour of Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness wrapped up this past weekend in Philadelphia.  Tickets are still available for Dayton (9/18), Chicago (9/19), and Boston (9/25) and may be obtained through ROH’s website.  Glory By Honor VIII, in the Grand Ballroom at the Manhattan Center (9/26), is sold out.

Nigel McGuinness, originally unavailable for September 19th, will now participate in the Chicago event.  McGuinness won’t wrestle, but will be available for autographs at intermission – as will Danielson.  Commemorative 8×10 photos of both men will be available at the merchandise stand.  Click here for more information on this event.

The Dayton live event will now also include a special meet-and-greet autograph session with Bryan Danielson.

Tyler Black is officially listed as out for the Dayton and Chicago events.  ROH shot an injury angle this past Friday, where Black drew a piece of paper – presumably containing Austin Aries’ next challenger for the ROH World Title, but instead being blank - out of Aries’ “Lucky Lottery” hat.  Aries then lit the paper on fire, and a fireball engulfed Black’s upper chest, neck, and face.

As a result of Black’s absence from the Chicago card, Danielson will now get his ROH World Title shot against Austin Aries on that date.

Erick Stevens injured his knee in a match in Germany, and is now listed as out for Dayton and Chicago as well.

ROH has signed KENTA for additional dates besides the previously announced November 13th (Detroit) and 14th (near Toronto).  KENTA will now also appear at the ROH on HDNet tapings on November 5th and 6th (Philadelphia – the last HDNet tapings of 2009) and the Edison, NJ show on November 7th.
