Kurt Angle (c) vs. Sting vs. AJ Styles vs. Matt Morgan
Mark Allen: I remember being way more excited for BFG IV than I am for BFG V. By the looks of things Styles will retire Sting in the semi-main and Angle will try to make a star out of Morgan in the main event. Where does that leave Joe? Jobbing Jarrett his way out of the company…
Winner – Kurt Angle
Matthew Michaels: I think Sting wins here, then “passes the torch” finally to Styles at BFG.
Winner – Sting
David Brashear: Let’s be honest. This PPV’s just marking time until Bound For Glory. Angle holds the belt until then.
Winner – Kurt Angle
Paul Marshall: Well, here’s the known variable. Kurt Angle WON’T be retaining here because he’s gearing for a feud with Bobby Lashley at Bound For Glory. There’s NO WAY that will be a title feud. Matt Morgan won’t win because he’ll be stuck in midcard hell after this PPV. It’s a GUARANTEE that Sting will be in the main event next month, but I’m going to say he’ll be a challenger to the title and play it up as a “Title v. Career” match against your new TNA World Champion…
Winner: AJ Styles
Matthew Michaels: I see no reason even Vince Russo can think of to put Rhyno over here.
Winner – Lashley
David Brashear: It would be the height of insanity to job Lashley out here.
Winner – Bobby Lashley
Paul Marshall: Here’s the appetizer before the main course. Sorry, Rhino…but you were better off as a face since heel Rhino does not work well. Also, it’s bad to bet against Lashley in his first PPV match.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
Mark Allen: Bobby’s not losing here…
Winner – BOBBY
Samoa Joe © vs. Daniels
David Brashear: Just like Angle’s match, there’s no way that the belt’s changing hands here.
Winner – Samoa Joe
Paul Marshall: Match of the Night. I really can’t see a finish in this match because I know they’ll want to stretch this out to Bound for Glory. I’m torn in picking a winner…but we’ll go for this.
Winner: No Contest
Mark Allen: Joe’s not losing here…
Winner – JOE
Matthew Michaels: Joe needs to keep the belt and keep having insane matches with these guys.
Winner – Joe
Beer Money, Inc. vs. Team 3D vs. Scott Steiner/Booker T vs. British Invasion
Mark Allen: So let me get this straight, it’s actually an eight man tag with 3-D and Beer Money taking on WE and MEM? That being said, the heels have nothing to lose here as both teams are the company’s tag team champions, which just sets up bigger matches at BFG.
Winner – MEM and Invasion
Matthew Michaels: I’m not even sure what the rules of this one might be. I’ll say… 3D?
Winner – 3D
David Brashear: So we’ve got Lethal Lockdown – which is normally 4-man teams, only this one has 4 tag teams. Guessing that this will play out like an HITC, I’ll give the win to Beer Money, Inc because I flipped a coin and they won. (Rumors that this is how TNA actually picks its winners are completely unsubstantiated.)
Winners – Beer Money
Paul Marshall: This has cluster**** written all over it. I’ll say that everything implodes here because that would be like Russo.
Winners: MEM
Kevin Nash (c) vs. Abyss
Matthew Michaels: Whatever. This belt is useless.
Winner – Nash
David Brashear: Since this match is also tied in to Dr. Stevie’s bounty on Abyss, I’ve got to believe that the bounty storyline isn’t over just yet. I’m going with Abyss winning (if the match doesn’t just end in some sort of schmozz).
Winner- Abyss
Paul Marshall: The bigger question is will Mick Foley interfere and send this to Bound For Glory in a Monster’s Ball match with Foley, Nash, & Abyss?
Winner: Kevin Nash
Mark Allen: Nash isn’t jobbing to him…I smell a Foley-Stevie Monster’s Ball match for Bound For Glory (or a four way).
Winner – Nash
ODB vs. Cody Deaner
David Brashear: Can we please move past this insanity? Put the belt on ODB and let’s get the women’s division back to where it used to be – with Kong pulverizing anyone in her way.
Winner – ODB
Paul Marshall: Somewhere in the world, Harvey Whippleman is crying. Elsewhere in the world, I’m happy that PK is covering this Pay-Per-View. This match is GUARANTEED to be worse than Jenna/Sharmell.
Winner: ODB, please.
Mark Allen: Deaner better not win or this will piss on all the goodwill the TNA Women’s division has built in the past two years.
Winner – ODB
Matthew Michaels: Sigh.
Winner – ODB
Mark Allen: Kind of dumb to put Hernandez against EY when they haven’t fed him Kiyoshi and Bashir first. This is all a game until he gets to Homicide anyways.
Winner – Hernandez (by DQ)
David Brashear: So we start out with Hernandez trying to take out the World Elite by going up against its leader. Yeah. That’ll work.
Winner – Eric Young (with a little help from his friends)
Paul Marshall: EY on PPV? YES! Sadly, that is where the excitement ends. EY is good in this role. I’m inclined to say that Hernandez is one tough Mexican. I would say that the World Elite would gangbang him during the match, but with the referees having the power to send them to the back, I’m going to say that EY eats canvas.
Winner: Hernandez
Beautiful People vs. Taylor Wilde and Sarita
David Brashear: These belts were created for the Beautiful People to dominate the division. Let the domination begin.
Winners – the Beautiful People
Paul Marshall: So it’s Madison Rayne & Velvet Sky for the Beautiful People? Hmmm…had it been Love/Sky I’d see them winning. However, I’m going to go with the spicy team of…
Winners: Wilde/Sarita
Mark Allen: It almost looks convenient that they booked Madison Rayne to rejoin The Beautiful People on the TV taping show before the PPV. It’s like they knew Angelina would go away. I’m sure it was meant to be a Russo SWERVE~! So that means The People lose.
Mark Allen: Taylor and Sarita
