Golden Boy Promotions has added two fighters to their stable. WBA Super Featherweight champion Jorge Linares will join the Golden Boy team after his October 10th title defense against Carlos Salgado in Japan. The 24-year-old Venezuelan is 27-0 (18 KOs) and is using the Golden Boy connection to get fights in the United States.
Also recently signed by Golden Boy is American lightweight prospect Omar Figueroa Jr. Figueroa is 19 years old and carries a record of 7-0 (7 KOs). Golden Boy inked Figueroa to a five-year deal.
