Carwin: “I am ready. I wish I could kick his ass tomorrow.”

News, Top Story

I interviewed Shane Carwin over at Heavy.com today, and he had some interesting comments regarding Brock Lesnar.

Heavy.com: Have you been able to bring anyone into your camp to try and replicate the size of Brock Lesnar?

Shane Carwin: Yes. We have been doing a “bring your child to the gym” day so we can deal with temper tantrums and irrational thoughts.

Carwin sounded off on Lesnar’s recent comments about his record, the quality of opponents he’s faced, and about the respect for the sport he feels is sorely lacking from Lesnar’s attitude.

Carwin issued one final declaration:

This is the first time that I am getting ready for a fight with a little hate for my opponent. He continues to fuel the fire with his ignorant comments about my opponents and my record. Next thing you know, he will tell you his high school was bigger then mine and therefore that’ll be the deciding factor.

I am ready. I wish I could kick his ass tomorrow.

Shane Carwin takes on Brock Lesnar for the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 106 on Nov. 21st in Las Vegas.
