Jeff Hardy will be in court on Wednesday September 30, 2009 for a preliminary hearing. This is his first court appearance stemming from his arrest last month, from an apparent tip to the police
Since then he has removed his twitter and been silent. There is a possibility that charges could be dropped at the preliminary hearing, although there is no word either way as to what will happen. Pulse Wrestling will have full details on the hearing as soon as they are available.
Here is a rundown of the charges that Jeff faces:
- felony trafficking in opium
- two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance
- felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance
- felony possession of cocaine
- misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
