Just got confirmation from Spike that 5.3 million viewers tuned in for the Kimbo Slice/Roy Nelson bout last night. The fight itself peaked at 6.1 million viewers and did a 7.68 in the target male 18-34 demographic. It’s the highest rated MMA show in history and the fourth most-watched fight in history. It’s also important to note that Kimbo Slice has been in three of the top four most-watched fights in history.
UPDATE: The show did a 3.7 household rating, making it the highest-rated show in mixed martial arts history.
