Reitman to direct Ghostbusters 3?

News, Projects, Rumors

Ivan-Reitman

It seems Ivan Reitman ain’t afraid of no ghost!

So, it’s been reported by Bloody-Disgusting.com that Ivan Reitman is attached to the long overdue Ghostbusters 3. There is no word as to whether or not he’s actually going to direct, however it seems he will be involved in some capacity.

According to b-d, “the sequel takes place when the paranormal researchers “reopen” their ghost removal service after it has been closed for quite a few years.”

We already know that Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver have all confirmed their involvement in the film.

I read that Murray only agreed to do it if Hudson’s character was given equal screen time as the other three, which I think it pretty cool.

Murray said for years that he’d never do another one, so hopefully that means the script is really damn good!

We can only wait and see.
