Fresh off his 10th round stoppage of Chris Arreola last month, Vitali Klitschko is returning to the ring on December 12 to defend his WBC heavyweight title against American Kevin Johnson. The fight will take place in Bern, Switzerland and it will mark Vitali’s third title defense this year.
Kevin Johnson is 22-0-1 (9 KOs) but has never been in a fight that was scheduled for 12 rounds. So of course he deserves a shot at the heavyweight title. There isn’t a lot of deserving talent to choose from in the heavyweight division, but I think Vitali could have found a more worthy opponent than Kevin Johnson.
