Wow. Time has somehow passed me by this week. I credit health issues for the fact that it has taken me a while to even sit down and watch Superstars. But, health issues or not, this weeks rather haze covered thoughts are finally here.
10. This somehow seems like a pointless match because Swagger wouldn’t lose at this stage. It feels slightly predictable that he’ll win till almost the end of the year and then they can make a big deal about it.
9. Primo had much better chances in the WWE when he was in a tag team. But in a company that seems to be enjoying ignoring the tag team division it totally makes more sense to split Primo & Carlito up and waste them.
8. “Ask the Divas” never fails to amuse. Katie Lea had the best comment of the week there.
7. Jerry Lawler gets far too excited over the divas. In a creepy way. Maybe someone younger could get away with that sort of commentary, but with Lawler its really grandpa ogling the young ladies.
6. Though, its not like Raw divas seem to offer up much for Lawler NOT to ogle. But, Kelly Kelly is wearing more than usual in this match. Amazing.
5. The announce teams are a bit different now. It’s going to take a while to get used to. Hopefully I’m not the only person really missing JR on commentary.
4. It was nice to see a different ECW offering this week. I’m a few weeks behind on ECW, but it does feel like we haven’t seen T-Recks in a long while.
3. Zack Ryder is doing well for himself within ECW. Hopefully that isn’t the kiss of death for him come next years draft.
2. “Vintage Bragging Rights”. Really Cole? It’s totally vintage because the PPV is as old as Wrestlemania yeah?
1. What is appealing about Mike Knox? I just don’t see it. Sure, he has improved in the ring, but there is nothing about him that makes you either want to cheer or boo.
