FOX has renewed American Dad for a sixth season, which means that all three shows in Seth MacFarlane’s animated empire are good to go through the 2010-11.
The show is averaging about 7.1 million viewers a week this season, which puts it in the middle of the pack in the Nielsen ratings. It’s a top 30 show in adults 18-49, however, and FOX notes that it ranks among the top 10 in teenagers, adults 18-34 and key male demos.
MacFarlane’s newest series, The Cleveland Show, earned a full second-season pickup earlier this month. Family Guy is set through the 2011-12 season.
