The newest resident of Cougar Town is a pretty good Friend of Jules Cobb.
Courteney Cox’s Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow will make a guest appearance on the ABC comedy later this season, the network confirms. Her episode will likely air in early 2010.
Kudrow will play a dermatologist that Jules (Cox) continues seeing despite the fact that “the doctor is mean to me.”
“She’s the best in town at what she does, and I become addicted,” Cox tells TV Guide.
The Cougar Town guest spot will be Kudrow’s first on-screen TV gig since her HBO series The Comeback in 2005. Her recent movie credits include Bandslam and Hotel for Dogs, and she starred in and co-created an online series called Web Therapy. She’s also an executive producer of NBC’s celeb-genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are?, which is slated for later in the season.
