The Marriage Ref, the Jerry Seinfeld-produced unscripted show due on NBC next year, has found its referee in comedian Tom Papa.
Papa, a stand-up comic who has opened for Seinfeld in the past, will officiate marital disputes on the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series, which begins filming in January, will have couples bringing their marital beefs before a panel of comedians and other celebs, who will then choose up sides and take their cases to the Ref.
