PWI’s Mike Johnson reports the following on ROH:
The first match for Final Battle 2009 has been announced. It will see the American Wolves defend the Tag Titles against the Briscoe Bros.
Eddie Edwards is part of the NOAH tour beginning on the 19th of this month, so he’s expected to be cleared to return soon. Chris Hero and Bison Smith will be joining him on the tour.
Kevin Steen’s knee is in such bad shape that it’s expected he will miss significant time due to surgery. He is looking for a second opinion, though.
There’s a 40% sale going on in ROH’s store for most items.
Tonight’s HD Net show will feature Bryan Danielson teaming up with Roderick Strong against the American Wolves in the main event. Also on the card are El Generico and Kevin Steen vs. the Super Smash Bros., Rasche Brown in (squash!) action, and the Austin Aries Lethal Lottery.
This weekend’s lineups include Aries defending the World Title against Davey Richards and Kenny Omega on consecutive nights.
