Scrubs To Return To ABC in December

News

The retooled version of ABC’s Scrubs will be back making rounds come December, according to the Scrubs Writers Twitter feed:

The Scrubs of the past is no more. Gone are the days focused on Sacred Heart hospital. The revamped version of the popular series is focusing now on a medical school setting. The only original stars returning as regulars are Donald Faison (Turk) and John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox).

They will be joined by newcomers Eliza Coupe, Michael Mosley, Kerry Bishe and Dave Franco. Zach Braff (JD Dorian) is also scheduled to appear in several episodes.

The two-part, one-hour premiere will air beginning at 9 p.m. ET on Dec. 1. Once Better Off Ted returns the following week on Dec. 8, Scrubs will occupy only the 9-9:30 time slot.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
