10 Thoughts on TNA Impact – 11/12/09

Reviews, Shows, TV Shows

10. A thought, Americans aren’t the only viewers. maybe hype a guest up a little so people overseas actually know who they are. all i got was that this guy was “Super Dave” and he was plugging a show on spike TV. No idea who “Super Dave” actually is, or what he does. (sure, i could Google, but i figure someone will enlighten me here).

9. I’d like to quote Mick Foley. “The Knockouts have to dress appropriately”. Please, oh please can that memo make it to The Beautiful People ASAP. Wonder if they’re going in a different direction because this week most of the Knockouts were a lot more covered than usual.

8. I doubt I was the only person to get excited over Raven appearing on TNA again. Hopefully he actually sticks around longer this time.

7. Daffney is a prime example of why i appreciate the diversity of the Knockouts division. That woman is so out there. But she does it well, and pairing her up with the crazies of the roster is a good move.

6. Oh dear. I loved the Hart Foundation and Jim Neidhart, but he isn’t in the greatest shape anymore. Doesn’t seem like he can move in the ring too well. (Though his strength is still there & it was nice to see him on TV again).

5. I’m actually hoping that legends showing up on TNA to battle with Jay Lethal won’t be the death of him. If he goes under each week to some people who were amazing in their time and shouldn’t be in the ring these days, it may just destroy him.

4. Steiner is obviously in denial. The only person around still wearing MEM merchandise and saying they still exist. It would be nice to see someone hit him over the head repetitively shouting “its dead” would be great TV at some stage.

3. They have done a good job with pushing the Angle / Wolfe feud. It could have been brushed aside and ignored but they’ve picked up the ball here and are running with it. Which is nice to see.

2. For once I agree with JB. The X division guys are definitely worth giving TV time to. They could sell PPV’s given half a chance.

1. Turning point has actually shaped up with a great card so far. The first hour of the show was a little bit of a letdown with very little that added to the PPV. But they got there in the second hour.
