Brock Lesnar Hospitalized; Shane McMahon Meets UFC

News

Brock Lesnar’s health has taken another turn for the worse and it may be a long time before he can fight again. He went to Canada last week to get some rest but collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. Lesnar has mono, as well as something else that he has requested remain confidential with UFC. Dana White has promised to keep this disease private, denying however that it was cancer or AIDS, but it is thought to be extremely serious and causing at least two problems for Lesnar’s body. White is headed to meet Lesnar back in Minnesota to arrange for treatment at a suitable medical facility.

“I am worried about it,” said White. “You know, I can’t really talk about it right now, but he’s in rough shape. He’s in really bad shape … and we’re going to have to do some stuff to take care of this guy. He is not well and he’s not getting any better. We’re going to have to send him to the Mayo Clinic or to Scripps, or one of those really good hospitals to figure out what’s wrong with this guy.”

White has also met with Shane McMahon at the UFC offices recently, yet divulged no details of their discussion.
