WWE News: New Raw Set Debuts Tonight? (Updated, Plus: Who’s Backstage?)

News

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reports that the set for tonight’s Raw at Madison Square Garden is different than the standard one WWE’s used for years. There is no Titan Tron, entrance way, or ramp. Instead, Johnson says they have a basic entrance with digital sideboards set up for tonight’s show. As Johnson points out, time will tell if this is a permanent change to go along with the show’s new theme song or a one week thing for MSG.

Update: The Wrestling Globe Newsletter’s Mike Aldren says that the stage change was done to open up more seats. He also reports that Pat Patterson, 30 Rock‘s Judah Freidlander, and members of the New York Yankees are backstage at the show.
