James Caldwell of PW Torch has confirmed Eric Bischoff’s statement regarding The Hulkamania TV deal. They’ll be set to broadcast the Saturday, November 28th show from Sydney.
The Australian TV channel One HD will then broadcast the event in December. It’s the first time the continent of Australia will air free wrestling since the early 90’s when they’d air pay-per-views on a two-weak delay.
The Hulkamania Tour cast and crew touched down safely in Melbourne on Friday.
Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Bisch arrived at 9:30am with The Hulkster’s latest product, The Hulk Hogan Hulka-Mid-Life-Crisis-Girlfriend! She comes complete with gold-digging accessories, and pre-recorded phrases such as “Andrew The Giant? Who?”. Ric Flair’s newest wife was also there. My bet is she lost him when they touched down, only to find him hawking “Whooo!”s for $2 a pop at the Duty Free Shop.
The rest of the crew, including Ken Anderson, The Nasty Boys, and Lacey Von Erich arrived an hour later. All were said to have been in high spirits and looking forward to preforming the next night.
