Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase vs. Primo Colon & Evan Bourne: Primo and Cody starts things off and Rhodes quickly attacks the arm. Primo uses his quickness to escape and makes it over to Evan and they combine for a drop toe hold and leg drop combo. Dibiase tags in and falls to a flying foot scissors by Bourne before he tags in Primo and they combine for some tandem offense. Dibiase is able to get Primo over to his team’s corner and Legacy quickly takes advantage of the situation. After surviving some double teaming, Primo is able to make the hot tag to Bourne. But before he can get going, Rhodes assists him in leaving the ring by pulling the top rope down and with him on the floor, we go to a break.
When we return to action Ted and Evan are in the ring and Teddy is in control rocking Bourne with a vicious clothesline. Cody continues their advantage and locks on a crossface chicken wing after a series of attacks. Bourne is able to break the hold by getting Cody in the corner but Rhodes is able to cut him off and tag his own partner back in. Legacy continues to tag in and out effectively using double teams each time to keep their advantage. Bourne makes a nice reversal of a suplex attempt by Dibiase and both men are able to make tags. Primo comes in on fire dominates Rhodes with a plethora of his usual offense. After a crossbody off the top rope that floors Rhodes, he nails a dropkick to Dibiase that sends him outside the ring. Primo then assists Bourne in spring boarding out over the top rope and onto Ted which removes them both from the match. Rhodes takes advantage of Primo turning his back for that effort and nails him with the Crossroads to get the pinfall for his team. Very entertaining tag-match!
The Hurricane vs. Zack Ryder: Early in the proceedings Hurricane reverses a whip into the corner and nails an armdrag but isn’t able to maintain control of the match for long. In fact neither man is as both have trouble stringing a series of moves together. That is until Ryder is able to hit his flying leg lariat (now called the Rough Ryder) and able to pound away on your hero on the mat. Ryder goes for a bulldog off the ropes but Hurricane blocks it with a clothesline and activates his powers for a comeback. Hurricane hits a crossbody off the top rope and then his shining wizard but it knocks Ryder out of the ring. A masked man (Paul Burchill) then rushes the ring and hits a Jackhammer on Hurricane and the ref ends the match by disqualification.
The Superstars video package of the week is for DX and is spotlighted by Shawn super kicking that little girl which never gets old. The Raw Rebound surprisingly features Carlito’s promo on Cena which I thought was great. We also get a full rundown of the card thus far for the upcoming TLC pay-per-view which I also think is pretty good.
Matt Hardy vs. Dolph Ziggler: Matt starts things off by working the crowd and the arm but Ziggler is able to hit a cheap shot after forcing the break. Ziggler takes a break outside of the ring but as he returns Hardy tries to suplex him back inside. Dolph is able to slip out of the move and takes Hardy down but his advantage does not last long as Matt clotheslines him outside of the ring. Matt nails him with a baseball slide and follows to toss him back in after roughing him up a bit. Hardy hit an elbow from the top rope and signals for the Twist of Fate but Ziggler dodges the move. Hardy get s two count out after dragging Dolph out of the corner with a powerbomb of sorts. Dolph then bails outside the ring again and the show takes a break with him.
As we return to the show and Dolph has somehow rebounded to have control of Hardy with a headlock. Ziggler tries to go up top for a move but Matt halts his climb and looks to try a super-plex. But Ziggler wiggles out of it and knocks Hardy off the perch to re-establish his advantage. After choking Matt with the ropes Dolph hits his cocky elbows sequence for a long two count. Once both men are back on their feet, Matt is able to fire back with a comeback and gets two counts off and elbow and a neckbreaker. Hardy goes up top but Ziggler hits him with a kick on his way down and nails him with an X-Factor for another long two count. Dolph goes for the Zig-Zag but Hardy latches onto the ropes to dodge it. Matt then goes for the Twist of Fate but Ziggler reverses that into a backslide and is able to hold Hardy down for a three count and get the win.
