News

TNA had a surprise drug test at the last batch of Impact tapings. The last time they did this there was a 25% failure rate, yet nobody was punished over the results.

The long-term direction for TNA once Hulk Hogan debuts is to have him and Mick Foley each leading their own factions. Dixie Carter was going to be a major character in the storyline but she has downgraded her role considerably after criticism of her performances.

Mick Foley’s upcoming book is called Countdown to Lockdown, which chronicles his preparation for his match with Sting and victory of the TNA World Title, his first major wrestling championship in ten years.

Krystal Lashley is turning heel, with her new character being someone who thinks wrestlers are low-class freaks but fighters are of a higher calibre. Bobby Lashley may well be turning heel alongside her.

Kurt Angle was singing the praises of Desmond Wolfe after their PPV match. Angle had laid the entire match out beforehand but his back was injured after a couple of minutes, so they had to change everything and improvise for the rest of the match.

Madison Rayne is also getting a lot of praise backstage for improving and learning fast than the other Knockouts. The agents are not at all high on Lacey Von Erich, with the perception of her being that she simply does not get it.

Angelina Love has been telling people at her indie dates that she is returning to TNA soon, although there has been no word on this from people in TNA itself.

Awesome Kong’s apartment complex caught fire on November 23. She was not injured and her own apartment only had minor smoke damage.
