Austin Aries retained his ROH World Title against Colt Cabana this past Saturday in Chicago (meaning Cabana will never get another title shot in his hometown again). Therefore, on December 19th at Final Battle 2009, Austin Aries will defend his title against Tyler Black. Click here for a video on their matchup.
As announced by Jim Cornette, Eddie Kingston will get one more shot at Chris Hero at Final Battle 2009. However, Hero gets to choose the stipulation.
Speaking of Cabana and Hero, the two will face each other the night before Final Battle 2009, in Manassas, VA, in Pick 6 action (Hero is currently ranked #3).
Also signed for Manassas, VA are the following: Erick Stevens, Bison Smith, Grizzly Redwood, and The Set.
The following wrestlers have been signed for the January 8th and 9th ROH on HDNet tapings in Philadelphia: The Dark City Fight Club, Kenny King, Rhett Titus, Necro Butcher, “Skullkrusher†Rasche Brown, Delirious, Daizee Haze, and the Briscoes.
