Umaga; Shane McMahon Updates

News

According to reports, Umaga may have been scheduled to return to WWE at the Royal Rumble 2010. Hulk Hogan had approached him to sign with TNA but was informed that he felt a degree of loyalty to Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, who gave him his biggest run, and would return to WWE instead. After his finaly match on November 28th, against Ken Anderson in Sydney, he returned to the USA on a flight with Ric Flair and Britney Spears also both on board. Apparently Spears recognised Umaga but not Flair, since her ex-husband Kevin Federline had worked some WWE Raw shows while Umaga was getting a major push.

Shane McMahon has not been working at WWE since announcing his resignation, which does not become official until the New Year. Morale amongst the office workers in the company has been the lowest anyone can remember. Shane was well-liked by those in his department, while Linda McMahon was also said to be a wonderful boss to work for, yet they are both gone. Vince McMahon remains well-respected but is prone to turbulent mood swings that make him difficult to work with, while Stephanie McMahon does not command the same respect and lacks the personable factor. It is generally believed that Shane left because he was in his forties, had no money concerns, had been passed over for power by his younger sister and was tired of dealing with the public humiliations caused by his father.
