After Dennis Miller mentioned Bret Hart as a possible guest host for Raw when he hosted Raw this week, the rumors have been rampant that it’s signed and going to happen.
Bret Hart appeared on Wrestling Observer Radio and was coy, saying he couldn’t comment on the situation, but later Dave Meltzer noted he believed Bret had signed.
The rumored deal is a short term 3-4 month deal that would be at or around the January 4th Raw and culminuate with Bret participating in some way at Wrestlemania. Whether he wrestles a match remains to be seen, but there are a number of natural matchups, most notably Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon himself.
In the past, Bret has noted he would be interested in working with WWE if it would also help the career of the Hart Dynasty – Natalya Neidhart, DH Smith and Tyson Kidd. It’s possible Bret will be involved with them in some way, perhaps against DX.
