After the news of the shocking passing of Brittany Murphy there has been speculation as to what the cause of death was for the 32 year-old actress.
On Monday, The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office completed an autopsy on the actress, but the results of the tests won’t be released for some time.
Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter tells E! Online that results will not be made public for about six weeks, which is how long it will take for toxicology tests to be processed.
Reports said that Murphy had been suffering from flu-like symptoms in the days before her death and authorities collected prescription medication from her home.
