10 Thoughts On TNA Impact – 12/17/09

Reviews, Shows, TV Shows

I just wanted to throw my apologies out there for this being rather late considering things, but at least it’s here in the end. Had a massive laptop failure (thanks HP) and have been offline for a few weeks. But we’re back this week with some thoughts on the most recent episode of TNA Impact. This is also brought to you by the wonderful items that are pen and paper. (As the laptop failure meant it wasn’t possible to type while watching).

10. It’ll be sad to see Lauren go from backstage. She’s been a valuable part of Impact in my opinion.

9. It’s always pleasing to see Nash get beaten on. Blast the World Elite for breaking it up.

8. Have to admit that I’m excited to see Roxxi back, she brings a different flavor to the Knockouts division. I also enjoyed seeing her get a win this week over ODB.

7. I know it’s a gimmick and all, but I honestly wish they would stop calling Nash “big sexy”. Sure, he is a large man, but he is NOT sexy at all. (I’m female therefore I’m allowed to make this sort of commentary).

6. Wondering if we’re being lead into a Foley / Nash match. Or worse, a Foley & Jarrett vs. Nash & Hogan match. Sure, they’ve all been on top of the game at some stage, but to push them again at this stage of their careers could equal a bit of a disaster if they don’t all bring their “A” game to any matches.

5. I love that Awesome Kong can get a win in a match just by sitting on her opponent.

4. FINALLY someone slaps Lacey von Erich. Sorry, cannot stand her.

3. Poor Jay Lethal. This “invitational” really isn’t working all that well for him. Maybe his next opponent might be the one where he actually gets a win in this thing.

2. WWE really missed out when they didn’t sign Nigel / Desmond. He is a very exciting worker, and one to watch carefully as TNA move into 2010.

1. The 10 minute time limit has the potential to screw over the workers, and it did in this episode. I would have loved to see them work to an actual finish. Hopefully Daniels & Wolfe get a chance to finish a match on the next episode or sometime in the future.
