TNA Monday Night Impact Segment Went Off Script

News

Most of the TNA Monday Impact live broadcast went as planned, but there was one segment that went slightly off course.

When Jeff Jarrett came out to cut a promo live in the Impact Zone, he gave a typical JJ promo talking about founding the company. Hulk Hogan then appeared on the screen to cut down Jarrett for nearly driving TNA out of business, and if not for Dixie Carter, there would be no TNA.

Apparently the promo was intended for Jarrett to come off much more as a heel, whining and taking credit for too much. Whether it was because there were last minute changes, or Jarrett went into business for himself is unclear.

The live crowd, who is loyal to Jarrett, ended up cheering Jarrett and booing Hogan when he retorted.

It was acknowledged backstage that the segment did not go off as intended.
