WWE Monday Night Raw featured the return of Bret “The Hitman” Hart, and there were some interesting happenings at the show that were not shown on TV.
During the breaks, the audio system sometimes piped in a “We Want Bret” chant. It was apparently not needed during the show, but WWE could have been preparing to sweeten the crowd reaction to Hart in case it wasn’t as big as expected.
After the end of the show, there was a lengthy tribute to Bret by current wrestlers. WWE put up video of the post-show celebration, which included Hart Dynasty members Tyson Kidd, D.H. Smith, and Natalya, Gail Kim, Chris Jericho and other members of the roster.
Mark Henry and D.H. Smith together lifted Hart up in the air to celebrate his first in-person return to WWE TV in 12 years.
