After last night’s win, it seems the Glee cast and producers are more willing to share a little scoop for the upcoming back nine episodes. According to show creator Ryan Murphy, J.Lo has approached him with interest. “I have a meeting with Jennifer Lopez in a couple weeks,” he said. “She wants to come on. We want her to be a cafeteria lady.”
Lea Michele, who plays the overachieving powerhouse glee club lead, throws out a name for her liking. I’m rooting for Justin Timberlake,” she said. “Aside from being an incredible singer and dancer, he’s also a fantastic comedic actor, and that is a great cocktail for being on Glee. And I think he and Matt (Morrison) would have a fantastic dance-off.”
Executive Producer Brad Falchuk is living a bigger dream. “Bruce is my own personal Valhalla,” Falchuk said. “I seriously only listen to him. My iPod is pretty much all Bruce, and E Street Radio is basically locked on my radio with the knob ripped off.”
While the cast and crew keep dreaming about their choice guest stars, it seems Olivia Newton-John will be following in the steps of Kristin Chenowith and Eve by actually appearing on the now Golden Globe Award-winning show. Apparently, she and Jane Lynch will be doing a duet of Newton-John’s classic hit, “Physical.”
Glee returns Tuesday April 13. Stay tuned for a Madonna-inspired episode and the return of Kristin Chenowith!
