Shonda Rhimes, creator of Grey’s Anatomy and it’s spin-off Private Practice, has been given the go-ahead from ABC to draft another medical drama for the network. Titled, “Off the Map,” the show is about three US doctors who leave the States to practice medicine on a tropical island. Also a Grey’s alum, writer Jenna Bans is writing the new drama’s script.
