Features

Hey everyone, I’m Murtz Jaffer, and welcome to the all new Inside Pulse TV Daily. Every day I’ll check in with a look at what’s hot in the world of IPTV, including previews, news, spoilers and much more.

What to read on IPTV Today

A very close friend of mine, Jennifer Lyon, passed away today. You might remember her from Survivor: Palau. I have written an article in her memory and it is available to read HERE.

The Winter TV season is in full effect, and IPTV has tons of great show reviews up now… Check out Matt Basilo’s Heroes Review for a dose of action. Then check in with Joe Corey’s latest American Idol Review.

Sharon has One Tree Hill covered, and for even more dramatic insanity, tv george’s got ya covered with Desperate Housewives

What to watch tonight?
What should be on your nighttime TV radar – for good OR bad reasons.

American Idol (FOX) 8 p.m.
Auditions continue in Orlando, Fla.; Kristin Chenoweth serves as a guest judge.

Yay for Glee! Fox starts the obvious singing cross-promotion. I have to say that after MTV, Fox has the best publicity team

Modern Family (ABC) 9 p.m.
Mitchell plants an idea in Jay’s head; Manny’s date gets a makeover from Gloria.

A couple of Inside Pulse staffers like this show. I like it, but it isn’t must-see for me.

Cougartown (ABC) 9:30 p.m.
Following her breakup with Jeff, Jules turns to Bobby for solace; Laurie discovers a common thread between Jules and Grayson; Travis’ plans with his girlfriend do not go as planned.

Does the C in Courtney Cox stand for cougar? Yummy!

Ugly Betty (ABC) 10:00 p.m.
Betty plans a karaoke party in her apartment building; Marc loses something irreplaceable; Amanda tricks Daniel and Wilhelmina into attending couples counseling.

A little-known Murtz fact is that I am 201-1 in professional karaoke competitions. Check YouTube for proof.

Mercy (NBC) 8 p.m.
A newlywed cancer patient undergoes a risky course of treatment, and Chloe struggles to help her doting husband cope; a man wakes up after 10 years in a coma and decides to confront the woman he loves; Sonia gets a taste of how the other half lives.

I am begging you for mercy…
