What to watch tonight?
What should be on your nighttime TV radar – for good OR bad reasons.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) 9 p.m.
After learning about Richard’s drinking problem, Derek confronts him; Izzie returns, hoping to reconcile with Alex; tensions run high for Teddy, Cristina and Owen in the aftermath of Cristina’s startling confession.

I have said that Grey’s Anatomy was the best show of 2009 and it is continuing its revitalization with a strong start in the new year

Private Practice (ABC) 10 p.m.
Maya’s announcement shocks Sam and Naomi; Pete challenges Fife on a patient with a cutting-edge bionic arm.

Hopefully the bionic arm, will be more interesting than Bionic Woman

Parks and Recreation (NBC) 8:30 p.m.
Following a date with Justin in Indianapolis, Leslie hosts a dinner party at her house to try to impress him.

I actually think P & R is much funnier than 30 Rock

The Office (NBC) 9 p.m.
Michael, Dwight, Pam and Andy try to impress a potential buyer who comes to Dunder Mifflin; Michael remembers good times they have had in the office.

Probably my pick of the week. Anytime Michael recalls past Office moments, you know the episode is going to be funny. I just hope we get to see a lot of Creed.

Fringe (FOX) 9 p.m.
Walter, Broyles and Astrid race to save Peter and Olivia when they are exposed to a life-threatening virus.

A little known Widro fact is that he is a big Joshua Jackson fan. He actually still watches all the Mighty Duck movies. Oh wait, did I say Widro? I meant me

Jersey Shore (MTV) 8 p.m.
Finale

It’s the season finale. Get your tan in, your laundry done and make sure you work out before settling in to see the funniest cast in reality TV
