Michigan Blues.

Rich Rod is just a big name without the game, and is a terrible fit for Michigan. Success in The Big Ten is about defense, not offense, and RR’s ego is too big to acknowledge that. Or maybe he’s too thick headed to get it. I think it is the former and not the latter. Also, Rich Rod came in thinking he was bigger than The Michigan program itself, which was another huge mistake. With a program as steeped in tradition and success as Michigan’s, there are a rare few coaches who can get away with acting like a prima donna, but they’re all smart enough not to cop that attitude anyway. The bottom line is, after two years, Michigan is worse on the playing field under RR than they were under Lloyd Carr, and that’s just not acceptable in The Land of Bo.
