January 25’s Ratings For TNA Impact

News

The post Genesis world of TNA scored a 1.26 last night, which is the same rating for the January 14th episode. However, viewership was up to 1.9 viewers compared to the 1.8 of the January 14th episode.

Obviously ratings are up a pinch, but to be honest, I think it’s just a pinch of morbid curiosity. If I didn’t read the spoilers, I’d probably tune in to check it out, but then I’d be sorely disappointed. I mean, Orlando Jordan over The Pope? Clean? C’mon. Samoa Joe mid-carding it then BAM main event spot. So much of it doesn’t make sense. But here’s what I think they should do, that would bring in viewers.

Part of me thinks they may go this way, and I hope they do. Have it come out that Hogan and Bisch’ wanted to come in and mold TNA in their own minds. They wanted to come in and take it over just like they did WCW. Have’em say that they have no respect for Jeff Jarrett, and they just wanted to take his creation and destroy it. Have them align with The Band, go back to beating up any and everyone. Jeff would become the number one babyface, as he’d struggle and fight to save the company he built. AJ Styles could join up, perhaps Sting, Samoa Joe, you know, all the TNA originals. Think about it, that’d be a hot angle that I believe people could really buy in to, because people don’t like Hulk, and think he’s there to play around anyways.
