Here are my 10 thoughts on RAW this week.
- The opening match was pretty good. The DX tension is pretty lame, though. Seriously, they just fought each other in a Triple Threat match and now there’s a big deal about them fighting in the Royal Rumble? Doesn’t make sense.
- One of the two dudes from Psych couldn’t make it tonight as he just had an appendectomy. Lame excuse. He should just limp out.
- Who is this GM anyway? I don’t think I’ve ever seen him before (other than ads for Psych). He’s not as awful as some past GM’s though. (I’m looking at you Verne Troyer and Al Sharpton).
- This Divas Championship tournament is responsible for some of the absolutely worst wrestling I’ve ever seen. Simply terrible.
- It’s funny that Vince McMahon pointed out to everyone that Bret Hart was a colossal failure in WCW (through no fault of his own. Ahem, Hogan)
- Cena’s rant to McMahon was pretty cool. McMahon actually let on-air the main issue all former wrestler’s have with him and the wrestling industry in general.
- So Jack Swagger finally threw Santino over the top rope. This is what former ECW champions are reduced to. (Although I do like Morella’s quest to not look like a “stupidoâ€).
- If McMahon was mad at Cena, why did he give him a match with Sheamus? That’s exactly what Cena tells us he wants every week.
- Good ending to the main event tonight until Cena FUâ€d Orton. Seriously, Sheamus looked strong against Cena and then Orton intervenes, costing him the clean win, and it should’ve ended there so we care about Orton/Sheamus at the Royal Rumble. Instead, we get Cena taking out Orton in a precursor to an obvious Rumble win. Has any of my readers figured out when I first called that by the way?
- Overall a lackluster RAW leading up to the Royal Rumble which is my favorite PPV of the year behind WM.

See you next week kids.
