JR Blog: Trish Stratus, ECW Ends, His WWE Future

News

Another day, another Jim Ross blog filled with loaded commentary on wrestling!

on Trish Stratus
Good luck to former WWE Womens Champion Trish Stratus with the film role she’s earned with a Canadian film maker as they prepare to shoot an action adventure flick. Like wrestling, making movies is a tough business and is largely dependent on creative and talent execution.

on the end of ECW
Speaking of hardcore, extreme, etc I will always have great respect for the Original ECW because of the passion and work ethic of all involved. Paul Heyman had great vision for what he wanted to create and his talents bought into that vision. I bring this up because the letters “ECW” will leave weekly TV in 3 weeks and will be replaced with a new, WWE produced program. Anxious to see what they come up with for Sy Fy.

on his future
Must be lots of new rumors on the ‘net about my future. If any of you get some concrete info on what I will be doing for a living in the coming months, years, etc, please let me know because my status, goals for the future, etc are the same as I have repeatedly stated for months… I have actually been discussing some projects totally unrelated to the wrestling biz which are intriguing.

on the Hall of Fame
If I had one vote for the WWE Hall of Fame, and I don’t, it would go to Danny Hodge.

Don’t be so bitter Jim, only 1 guy has a vote for the Hall of Fame. Check out the full Wednesday JR Blog

Jonathan Widro is the owner and founder of Inside Pulse. Over a decade ago he burst onto the scene with a pro-WCW reporting style that earned him the nickname WCWidro. Check him out on Twitter for mostly inane non sequiturs
