On Friday, ABC confirmed that David Goyer is no longer the showrunner of the ratings-challenged FlashForward.
Goyer is not the first to leave the show amidst turmoil. He stepped in for the last 9 episodes of the first season to replace the show’s original showrunner Mark Guggenheim.
A new showrunner has not yet been named on the drama.
Goyer, whose feature writing credits include “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight,” said he will now return to focusing more on his film career.
