In a recent interview in Mexico, Rey Mysterio said he felt he was 2-3 years away from retiring from wrestling.
He plans on having reconstructive knee surgery in April, after Wrestlemania 26, and will see from there how the rehab goes.
There is a chance that he would leave WWE within the next few years and return to Mexico for a superstar push and a lighter schedule, provided the money could be worth his while.
