Paramount Home Entertainment has announced DVD (SRP: $19.99) and Blu-ray Disc (SRP: $29.99) releases of Up in the Air for March 9, 2010. The film stars George Clooney, Anna Kendrick and Vera Farmiga. The DVD release will be presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TVs with Dolby Digital English 5.1 Surround, French 5.1 Surround and Spanish 5.1 Surround and English, French and Spanish subtitles. The Blu-ray disc is presented in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, French 5.1 Dolby Digital, Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital and Brazilian Portuguese 5.1 Dolby Digital and English, English SDH, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese subtitles.

As far as special features go, the DVD includes audio commentary with writer-director Jason Reitman, cinematographer Eric Steelberg and 1st assistant director Jason Blumenfeld; the featurette “Shadowplay: Before the Story”; five deleted scenes and trailers.

The Blu-ray Disc will include all those features in HD quality as well as eight additional deleted scenes; a “Help Yourself” music video by Sad Brad; storyboards and an American Airlines Prank.
